LIBERIA - WOMEN
FOR  PROGRESS
Welcome to the Official site of Miss Liberia, Texas

The Dinner Theatre was a resounding success!  Renowned Liberian author, actress
and screenplay writer, Miss Sandi Johnson, directed a murder mystery entitled “A
Place Among Stars”.  In this play, a guest at the party dies and the rest of the evening
was spent determining “whodunit”.  The audience was enthralled.  The actors were
interacting with the audience and everyone tried to guess the murderer.  Finally, after
intense questioning, the inspector (Miss Maima Sesay) revealed who the murderer
was.  Only one guest, Mrs. Florida Kweekah, had guessed correctly.  Congratulations
Mrs. Kweekeh (shhh, don’t tell)!  Let me tell you, no one was exactly innocent either.
It made for a fun time!

Our own Miss Liberia-Texas 2006, Miss Kate Clarke, gave a stunning performance as
the wife of the murdered man.  Then again, she is an aspiring actress (she’s doing a
commercial as we speak).  Wow, who would have thought that Safula (Miss Rhonda
Taylor, daughter of E. Reg) would come out of her shell like she did.  She did and
Miss Taylor captured her transformation beautifully.  Mrs. Ayele Preston played the
party girl (with her husband standing by).  She was dressed for, and looked the part.
LWP says thank you to all of these vibrant Liberian ladies for making the night such a
success.
